Often called the Champagne of white teas, Silver Needle or Bai Hao Yin Zhen from Fuding, Fujian Province, China, has been oxidized a little under the sun and has warm, tropical, and grassy characteristics than your typical Silver Needle.

Made only from soft and plump new buds that are picked just two days a year, in early spring and carefully handled only by hand. The process of making the tea sounds incredibly simple - pick the buds and lay them out until dry. But this simplicity means that there is no room for error and the smallest factors can lower the quality of the tea. This tea offers a higher level of L-theanine than other white teas, resulting in a sweeter and rounder cup of tea.
