The tea develops a round and full, slightly sweet taste with some smokiness.

Harvested and produced in Hubei Province, the tea leaves for this tea have been rolled into a hard pellet with a fresh and silky sheen. The tea gives sharp and fresh notes that end somewhat sweet and smoky. These flavors are usually produced during the first minute in water. The taste is similar to a traditional Gunpowder, but thanks to its organic harvest, the tea has a unique taste that is slightly different from the original.

This tea has been used as a base for Arabic mint tea for centuries.
